Holarch

AI assistance

AI that works inside your model.

Holarch's AI tools read the requirements, functions and links in your project and propose changes to them. You see every proposal before it applies, and one undo reverses it. AI runs with your own key from the provider you choose.

What you can do

Turn requirements into functions and an FFBD

Extract Functions with AI proposes functions and allocates each requirement. Suggest Flow with AI proposes the order, branches and loops of the FFBD.

Check and rewrite requirements

AI Quality Review judges Correct, Feasible and Necessary. Improve Wording, Make Measurable, Simplify, Split into Singular Requirements, Draft Rationale and Suggest Name rewrite one requirement.

Ask about Holarch and your model

Ask AI answers questions about the open project and about Holarch. Answers link to the items and Help topics they use.

Generate requirements, tests and risks

Generate Requirements, Expand Requirements, Generate Test Case and Generate Risks draft new items from what the model already holds.

Summarize and translate documents

Summarize Document writes an executive summary from key notes. Translate Document creates a translated copy of a document.

Find missing and doubtful links

In the Traceability Matrix, Traceability Assist suggests missing links and Suspect Assist flags doubtful ones. You accept each suggestion.

Support trade studies

Suggest Criteria from Requirements and MOEs proposes criteria. Draft Decision Rationale writes the justification for the decision you record.

Draw clipart that the library lacks

In a whiteboard, ✦ Generate with AI… draws clipart variants in your style and colors. Harvest Requirements drafts a requirement from each sticky note.

Review every change before it applies

  • Proposals open in a preview: a table of functions, verdicts with reasons, or a word-by-word diff of each rewrite.
  • Changes to approved, baselined or locked items start unticked. So do link removals and text with a web address.
  • Nothing changes until you apply. One undo reverses the whole change.
  • Rewrites in rich text show the current text, the suggestion and the changes before Replace.

Answers grounded in your project

  • Ask AI uses the project's items and relationships, the current page and the Help.
  • Answers link to the items they name and to the Help topics they use.
  • When a feature does not exist, Ask AI says so.
  • Project text is sent as marked data. The AI is told not to follow instructions found in it, and replies are checked before you see them.

Clipart when the library has nothing that fits

  • In a whiteboard's clipart panel, choose ✦ Generate with AI… and describe the picture.
  • Pick the style, colors, view and number of variants. Each reply is checked, and only clean single SVG pictures are shown.
  • Choose the variants to keep and add them to your library with a name, category and keywords.

AI that you control

  • Use your own key from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini or Azure OpenAI, or your organization's key. The provider bills that account.
  • Keys are encrypted on the server and never sent back to the browser.
  • Holarch stores no prompts and no replies. It records the time, key, token counts and result of each request for usage and limits.
  • Projects marked CUI, ITAR, EXPORT CONTROLLED, SECRET or similar block AI.
  • Set a monthly token limit on a key. Viewers cannot use AI tools.
  • Instructors and team admins can turn AI off for their class or organization. Coming soon
  • Everything else in Holarch works without AI.

How it works

  1. Add a key. In Account Settings → AI keys, choose Add Key, pick the provider and paste the key. Holarch tests it before saving.
  2. Pick a tool. Click ✦ AI in the top bar for Ask AI, or its ▾ for the AI tools of the current page.
  3. Review the preview. Edit, tick or untick each proposed change.
  4. Apply. The change applies as one undo step.
