Collaboration

Work in one model with your team.

Share a project and give each person a role. Everyone edits the same model at the same time, and each change reaches the others within a second. Earlier versions are kept, so a mistake can be undone.

What you can do

Roles per project

Owners invite people, change roles and transfer ownership. Editors change all content, restore earlier versions and export. Viewers read and export. Roles apply to one project only.

Invite by email

Enter an address and pick a role. The invitation link is valid for 7 days. Pending invitations are listed until they are accepted, and an owner can revoke them.

Edit at the same time

Badges show who has the project open and which page they are on. A notice names who changed what, and Show changes lists the items and fields.

Conflicts you decide

When two people change the same field at once, the newer change is in place and the other is kept under Conflicts. Keep yours, keep theirs, or edit to combine them.

Keep working offline

When the connection drops, changes are kept on your device and sent when it is back. Undo only undoes your own changes.

Comments and earlier versions

Discuss items in comments, then resolve them. The last 20 saves and one save per day for 30 days are kept; restore any of them from the project menu.

Access you can check

  • Only members open a project. A project you are not a member of looks as if it does not exist.
  • Viewers see a View only banner. Edit controls, comments and AI tools are turned off for them.
  • Every project has at least one owner. The last owner cannot leave until ownership is transferred.
  • Deleted projects stay in the Trash for 30 days. Only owners delete or restore them.

Files stay with the project

  • Attachments, diagram images and simulation results are kept in file storage on the server.
  • Up to 25 MB per file and 1 GB of attachments per project.
  • Share your own clipart with the members of a project.

How it works

  1. Open Share. Click Share at the right of the top bar of an open project.
  2. Invite people. Enter each email address, choose Owner, Editor or Viewer, and click Invite.
  3. They join. People without an account create one from the link. People with an account sign in and join.
  4. Work together. Edits save to the server and appear for everyone. Resolve any conflicts from the live indicator.

Build the model together.
