Add an AI Key

AI features on the web use an API key from your own account with an AI provider: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini or Azure OpenAI. The provider bills that account.

1. Create an API key in the provider's console (Anthropic Console, OpenAI Platform, Google AI Studio, or your Azure OpenAI resource).
2. In Holarch, open the account button (your initials) → Account Settings → AI keys, or ✦ AI ▾ → AI Settings….
3. Choose Add Key, pick the provider and paste the key. For Azure OpenAI, also enter the endpoint (https://<resource>.openai.azure.com) and the deployment name.
4. Confirm your password when Holarch asks for it. Adding a key needs a recent password check.
5. Holarch tests the key with a short request before saving it. When the test fails, the key is not saved and the message says why.

After saving, the list shows only the provider, the last 4 characters, who added the key and when it was last used. Test checks the key again; Remove deletes it from the server.
