Baselines & Versions
Project baselines (snapshots of all entities and relationships), document baselines, and comparison between them.
Where to find it
- In the navigation rail: Plan & Deliver → Baselines & Versions.
- The project menu in the top bar: Project Version Control. Document baselines: the document's Baselines tab or More ▾ → Baseline….
Main actions
- Create Project Baseline: type a name and press Enter or click Create Baseline.
- Baselines: all, project only or one document's; with Approvals (point at them for role, date and statement), entity and relationship counts. Actions: Compare, Rename, Export (JSON), Restore (project) or Revert (document), Delete.
- Compare: From → To, or against the current model: changed, added and removed entities and relationships with a word diff; Export CSV or XLSX.
- Clean Baselines: baselines of deleted documents, with Restore Document and Delete.
Tips
- Baselines are kept in the project. Earlier saved versions of the project file are a separate safety net: see Data and Security.
