Set Up Verification, Run Tests and Produce the RVTM

Plan how each requirement is verified, record test runs with evidence, and report coverage in an RVTM.

  1. Set each requirement's Verification Method (Analysis, Demonstration, Inspection, Test), Verification Level and Success Criteria: in the inspector, or in the Requirement Verification Coverage card of the Test Center.
  2. Open Verification → Test Center and choose + New ▾ → Test Suite…, then + Test Case on the suite. Or select a requirement in a document and use ✦ AI ▾ → Generate Test Case….
  3. On each test case, add the requirements it verifies (+) and its Steps (action, expected result).
  4. Click Run Tests. Enter the Configuration / Build and Test Article for the run. For each test, fill the actual results per step, Attach Evidence…, and choose ✔ Pass, ✘ Fail, Blocked or Skip.
  5. After a failure, click + Create Issue; the Issue is linked to the test case and the requirements it verifies.
  6. Open Verification → RVTM. The cards count Verified, Failed, Not Run, Planned-only and Unverified requirements; click one to filter. Status rolls up through decomposition.
  7. Download it with Export ▾ (Excel, CSV or Word) in the top bar.

A requirement can also be verified by simulation: see Simulate and Check Against a Requirement.
