Getting Around Holarch
Entity View
Everything about one entity: fields, attributes, relationships, approval, history and comments.
Where to find it
- Double-click a Database row, click an entity name anywhere, or choose Entity View from an Open ▾ menu. Address:
entity/<id>.
Main actions
- Top bar: History…, the lock button (🔒 / 🔓), Open ▾ (every applicable diagram type, Document View, Simulator, Test Center, Traceability Matrix and saved results or charts) and More ▾ (Reports…, Auto Number…, Duplicate, Rollup…, Transform…, Clone Hierarchy…, Find and Replace…, Delete Entity…). The ✦ AI ▾ lists the entity's AI tools.
- Edit Name, Number, Class (a change runs Transform and warns about data that would be lost), Labels and the Description.
- Attributes card: requirement fields an author sets come first (Priority, Status, Verification Method and Level, Owner, Source, Criticality, TBD/TBR); the quality criteria and score are in a collapsed Quality group. See Attribute Types and Distributions.
- Relationships card: Pinned / Active / All, + Add Relationship, 📌 to pin a relation type for the class, + (Relate Existing Entities… / Create New…) and relationship attributes in place.
- Requirements show Approve, Reject… and Reopen; a suspect requirement shows a banner with Review….
- Inspector: Comments (edit, resolve, reopen, delete) and Metadata, Recent History and All History….
Tips
- History… lists every version with a word diff; Revert to version N undoes all later changes in one step.
- A locked entity refuses edits, removal and new relationships until it is unlocked. Workflow transitions can lock it automatically.
- A deleted entity's page offers Restore Entity to Project.
