Behavior
Action Diagram
The LML functional flow of a parent Action; its steps are the parent's decomposed by children. The Simulator runs it.
Where to find it
- Behavior overview page, Diagrams at the bottom of the rail (+ Create Diagram ▾), an entity's Open ▾, or the type selector in the top bar of any diagram of a suitable root.
Main actions
- Insert: + Action ▾ (New Action…, Existing Action…, Parallel (no entity)), + SYNC, + OR, + LOOP, + EXIT, + Branch, + I/O.
- Type actions: ◀ ▶ move, Delete, Decompose, Flatten, Duration… (one duration for several actions), Open, ▶ Simulate ▾ (Discrete Event, Monte Carlo); toggles I/O, Resources, Assets, Parent I/O.
- OR decides by probability, resource condition, script or prompt. LOOP continues by iterations, probability, condition or script. SYNC has an optional timeout. EXIT ends the flow.
- I/O links an action that generates it to one that receives it; a received I/O is a trigger by default (the action waits for it).
- ⚙: show or hide resources, I/O, parent I/O, performing assets and the palette; Reset I/O & Resource Placement; Generate Asset Diagram; Open as FFBD. The action's Edit Action Script… is in the inspector (Simulation Scripts).
