Architecture
Parametric Diagram
Constraint blocks (Equations), parameters and values (Characteristics) and blocks (Assets) joined by Bind connectors, solved with units.
Where to find it
- Architecture overview page, Diagrams at the bottom of the rail (+ Create Diagram ▾), an entity's Open ▾, or the type selector in the top bar of any diagram of a suitable root.
Main actions
- A constraint's Value holds its equation in its parameter names:
F = m * a,P_gen = A*Eta*S*cos(Theta)or an inequality such asP_load <= P_gen. - Units: values are read with their units (
12 kg,150 ft/min,9.81[m/s^2]) and converted; adding mass to power is a dimension error. Functions: sqrt, abs, sin, cos, tan, asin, acos, atan, atan2, exp, log, log10, pow, min, max, floor, ceil, round; constants PI and g0. - Network: all constraints are evaluated together in dependency order; simple loops are iterated, and one empty input of a solved equation is found numerically.
- Badges: ✓ OK, ↻ Solve, ✓ Pass / ✕ Fail, … Needs input, ⚠ Error. Solve All previews every value that would change and applies them as one undo step; Solve does the same for the selected constraint.
